Profile Since launching her line Lourdes Rios Designs in 2003, Lourdes has wowed her customers with sophisticated ready to wear as well as sleek and sexy cocktail. A native of California, Lourdes remembers as a child watching her cousin for hours as she worked as a seamstress making out of nothing beautiful gowns that fit perfectly. She also watched in admiration movies from the early to mid 1900’s with Ginger Rodgers, Myrna Loy, Ingrid Bergman, and Betty Davis. Their glamorous sense of style was the inspiration for her dreams of designing. She attended Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles. Over the years, Lourdes taught herself the techniques and craftsmanship that have resulted in her distinctive clean and elegant styles.
